Once you design your components with CAD software, you can 3D print them to create physical prototypes or final products.

3D printing is not difficult. Modern slicing software does most of the work for you, so you just have to carefully design your components to be printable.

While you can order prints through online 3D printing services, it's generally better to have your own 3D printer for faster iteration and lower long-term cost.

We use Bambu Studio with our Bambu Lab P1P printer, but there are many other reliable printers and slicing tools available.

tip

If you need more precise or rigid components, consider using CNC machining instead of 3D printing.

A 3D printer might be expensive, but the printing materials are relatively cheap.
